A simple scratch can ruin a CD and render your music unplayable. A good idea is to back up the music on a computer, but you can't do this just by copying the tracks in Windows Explorer. Movavi Audio Suite provides everything you need to rip your audio CDs and to perform other tasks, like converting the tracks, burning them on another CD and much more. You can think of this program as a handy toolbox for audio files. Its functionality is straightforward and easy to understand and it provides support for a wide range of audio formats.

Movavi Audio Suite is free to try for a limited period of time. It takes about a minute to install its core components and it can be used on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Win 7 or Win 8. The hardware requirements are modest and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools or drivers.

When launched, Movavi Audio Suite will display a central panel, from which you can run the included tools separately. They can be used to convert audio files, record with a microphone, rip audio CDs or burn new ones and extract soundtracks from video files. Each utility has its own user interface, with different options, but most operations are performed in a similar fashion. You only need to import or select files, choose a format and an output path and click a button.

The CD ripping utility will detect a CD's tracks automatically, when you insert it in your computer. The ripped audio tracks can be stored in MP3, OGG, FLAC and many other formats, with different quality settings. Audio files that are already on the hard drive can be converted with a separate utility. It supports the same audio formats and it is capable of converting multiple audio files in a single run.

If you like a video's soundtrack, you can use the audio extractor to save it as a separate audio file. All you have to do is load one or more videos, choose a format and click a button to extract their audio tracks. Additionally, the utility can be set to extract a specific audio segment, which can be selected on an embedded player. Besides ripping audio CDs, converting or extracting audio files, Movavi Audio Suite can be used to burn new audio CDs as well. Combining these features can be particularly useful, if you don't want to wear out your original audio CDs.

Pros

You can use Movavi Audio Suite to perform various tasks. It includes an audio CD ripper, audio converter and other useful utilities. All tools have a simple design and they are very easy to use.

Cons

Movavi Audio Suite will not run if you have a monitor program installed on your computer. Thanks to Movavi Audio Suite's straightforward and easy to understand functionality, ripping or converting audio tracks doesn't take more than a few simple clicks.
